Co-produced with Brazilian guitarist Mario Adnet, who has previously arranged many of Lisa Ono's albums. The sound concept for this album is “Lisa Ono with Horns,” centering on big band jazz repertoire, including works by Duke Ellington. Top musicians from Rio, Brazil, gather to form a solid backing, featuring a horn section, as well as strings and percussion.

In Brazil, there is a dance hall called “Gafieira” that has been popular among the common people for a long time. Bands with horn sections play not only Brazilian music like samba and choro, but also famous jazz and Latin songs arranged with a Brazilian flavor. It is a place where men and women dance in pairs to this music, and the term has also come to refer to the dance and music genre itself. The joyful atmosphere of such Gafieira is also conveyed through this album.
