Pretty World

This latest album, recorded in NY, features Eumir Deodato, known for his soundtrack work on the film '2001: A Space Odyssey,' as producer. Starting with 'A MAN AND A WOMAN,' a song familiar from Francis Lai and the first French vocal track on the album, the selection primarily features classic pop hits from the 60s to 80s. With an urban, crisp rhythm section and elegant arrangements, it exudes a cool, mature groove. The sound production and vocals subtly convey respect for these classic songs. The slightly melancholic atmosphere of Frank Sinatra's 'ALL THE WAY' and Tony Bennett's classic 'I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO' also feels just right.
