Since her CD debut in 1989, Lisa Ono has been singing her own original songs, as well as famous Brazilian and international tunes, with her refreshing voice set to comfortable bossa nova rhythms, and has continued to lead Japan's Brazilian music scene. This album, released in her 25th year since debut, is a long-awaited work by fans, returning to her roots with famous Brazilian samba and bossa nova classics. With the world's attention on Brazil due to the FIFA World Cup Brazil starting this June 12th and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, this is a timely release. Recorded with Rio musicians, arranged by the prodigy Mario Adnet, who was active as part of the Jobim family.
